Meeting on the Shore

On a camping trip to the coast of Abersoch in North Wales, I photographed the first meeting between my four-year-old daughter, Beck, and her young son. What started as a simple family weekend became a quiet, powerful record of two children and a new parent figure coming together for the first time – tentative smiles, shared play, and the unspoken moment a new family began. Shot in a raw documentary style, these images capture the small, honest gestures that turn strangers into something lasting against the backdrop of the Welsh shoreline.
