Leaving the bustle of London behind, a close group of friends headed west to the coast and ancient woodlands of Pembrokeshire, West Wales for a much-needed weekend escape.
Armed with boots and little agenda, they wandered through moss-covered paths and towering trees, where conversations flowed easily and phones stayed in pockets.
In these quiet moments between the dappled light and fallen leaves, bonds strengthened. Laughter echoed through the woods as they shared stories.
My camera documented these moments – the easy glances, the helping hand up rocks, the comfortable silences that only true friends can share.

As daylight faded, we gathered around the bonfire. Flames danced against the darkening sky while sausages sizzled and wine was passed around. In the warmth of the fire, stories grew longer and laughter louder. There’s something primal and honest about sharing food cooked over an open flame.
These photographs capture the golden glow on faces, the sparks rising into the night, and the simple pleasure of good company.
This short documentary project highlights how stepping away from city life can reignite connections and create memories that linger long after the embers cool.
